Who we are

Hello!

My name is Lisa Savill and I live and work in my home county of Shropshire with my very tall husband Pete and our gorgeous cockapoo, Dolly.

Ever since my first day at the local Infants School, when I apparently came skipping out saying, ‘Mummy, Mummy, I want to be a teacher,’ I wanted to teach. After training in the beautiful city of Cardiff, I taught ages 5-11 for 22 years coordinating a range of subjects and leading a year group.

“What made you stop?” I hear you quite rightly ask.

Well…a variety of reasons but mainly contracting Long Covid and needing to reconsider what my body could realistically do. Also, seeing the vast changes in the ability to cope with setbacks in pupils, parents and those generally around me, had me questioning what more I could do to help others.

Then in flew my superwoman mentor Lizzie Bunce (original schools lead of the Emotional Logic Centre) who led me though some Emotional Logic sessions. The tools and approaches I learnt to navigate difficult circumstances and tricky choices, made my busy and confused mind become far clearer!

The result? Reducing my teaching hours, taking on (delightful) tutoring students and training to be an EL Coach myself!

I now focus full time on my business, Flourish Education, as a coach and trainer using the Emotional Logic method as my main tool.
